ADVISORY COMMITTEES TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION

Per policy 7165, the Board of Education may appoint advisory committees to recommend solutions, provide information, or perform assigned tasks as directed by the Board and administered by the Superintendent. The members of each committee shall be instructed regarding the length of time each is being asked to serve, and the services and tasks the Board has authorized the committee to perform. Advisory Committees to the Board of Education shall comply with the Nebraska open meeting's law. As they are scheduled, notice of advisory committee meetings will be posted here.

BOE Committee on American Civics

A subcommittee of the Board of Education (Committee on American Civics) will hold a public meeting on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at Westside High School, 8701 Pacific St., Omaha, NE. The agenda, which will include public testimony, is available at the District Office.

Bond Oversight Committee

Bond Oversight Committee Meetings are held monthly. Unless otherwise noted for a specific date, meetings are held at the District Administrative Office - ABC Building - 909 S. 76th Street, Omaha, NE 68114 at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public.
