Westgate celebrated Veteran's Day at an all school assembly. Student leadership read information about Veteran's Day and the meaning of "Taps", patriotic songs were sung, and we even had an awesome performance of "Taps" by two high school students. Students were able to invite family members that are Veterans; they were treated to coffee and rolls, and then were honored by the students' applause as they entered the gym. Thank you, Veterans!
