Hello West Campus Warriors!  I have been in education for over 30 years, and I continue to feel excited and blessed each day to be working with and learning from our young people!  I believe that high expectations and connections are key in developing our students at West Campus into the best version of their self .

I am originally from Wichita, Kansas and have been in Omaha for the past 5 years.  I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandma- “Wela” (short for abuela).  I am a huge fan of Hip-Hop (going strong since 1972 from the South Bronx) music and many other genres.  Useless information and trivia are a hobby of mine.

At West Campus our goal is to foster a community of unity and caring.  All of us are unique individuals with varied backgrounds and stories.  What we all have in common is that we learn each day from one another and strive to improve in our growth and knowledge every day at Westside High School West Campus.

At West Campus we want students, families, and staff to feel that they are seen, heard, and valued.  Since we are a smaller campus, we are fortunate that we can connect with our students on a more individualized level and support their needs and goals in becoming a Westside High School graduate.
