Thanks to Westside voters as part of the 2015 bond issue, crews competed extensive renovations and expansion of Westside Middle School in January of 2017.

Key features as part of this project included: utility and structural repairs throughout (including a new roof), science lab improvements, additional learning spaces to replace portables, and improved special education areas. Approximately 75,600 square feet was renovated at Westside Middle School, for 183,000 total square feet of space. The project cost an estimated $16,765,000.
